Amitis Oskoui

Amitis Oskoui Associate Consultant

Education: BA Communication Studies, UCLA; MIA, Economic Development and Policy Analysis, Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs

Amitis brings over four years of experience in research, project management, and program evaluation to TCC Group. In previous roles, Amitis has strategically engaged with nonprofits as a partner on several international development programs, and as a business services specialist, helping nonprofits improve their effectiveness in managing human capital.

Prior to joining TCC Group, Amitis served as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme – engaging nonprofit partners to develop a capacity building program strengthening local-level governance and social cohesion in Myanmar. Earlier, Amitis worked as a part of the Education for Sustainable Development division at UNESCO in Paris, France. There, she engaged with nonprofit partners to combine expertise and resources to expand UNESCO’s reach and impact on issues ranging from climate change education to biodiversity.

Amitis has experience consulting for a range of clients in the social sector, designing and implementing program assessments and evaluations, as well as strategic planning for a variety of social entrepreneurship and international development projects. Amitis was also part of a joint research team at Princeton University and Columbia University, where she helped to advance research on labor unionization and inequality in the United States.

Amitis is fluent in Farsi and proficient in French. She has a BA in Communication Studies from the University of California Los Angeles and a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs with a specific focus on economic development and advanced policy analysis.
