Caitlin Caspersen, Associate Consultant, has worked as a member of the Corporate Services Team since 2013 to develop, implement, and manage corporate citizenship and family foundation giving programs. Working intimately with companies, both public and private, she supports the identification of purpose and goals behind giving to design and develop high impact, high efficiency, holistic giving programs that leverage unique opportunities provided by corporate giving while aligning with stakeholder needs and expectations. With expertise in systems development and management, Caitlin often proceeds to implement and manage these giving programs over several years; working hand in hand with the funder to refine and reshape criteria, programming, and processes with the goal of ensuring longevity, reaching impact goals, and ultimately sharing the program’s story.

Caitlin’s ongoing clients include Ascena Retail Group, ViiV Healthcare, and the Monsanto Fund. Caitlin has also provided support to a number of TCC’s long-term family foundation clients such as the Mary J. Hutchins Foundation, the Ohrstrom Foundation, ViiV Healthcare’s Positive Action Community Grants Program, the Virginia B. Toulmin Foundation, and the Panaphil and Uphill Foundations. This work includes providing back-office support, interfacing with current and potential grantees, managing grant databases, developing grant dockets, preparing Board meeting minutes, and writing grantee acceptance and decline letters.

Prior to joining TCC Group, Caitlin worked with Teach for America in a New York City public school as an English as a Second Language teacher. She brings experience in strategic marketing and fundraising experience through her work with Habitat for Humanity. Caitlin graduated Fordham University with an MS in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), and earned a BA from Syracuse University in Art Photography. In her free time, she volunteers with 826 Writing in Chicago, IL, and is an active photographer and traveler.
