Erin’s interests lie in the expanding role of data and technology for social sector organizations, both for increasing institutional effectiveness and improving participant outcomes.
At TCC Group, Erin manages the Core Capacity Assessment Tool (CCAT), a leading online survey tool for assessing nonprofit organizational effectiveness. In this role, Erin works closely with clients to effectively implement the CCAT organizational assessment in a manner consistent with the goals and needs of each organization. She is also involved in the database management and analysis that informs TCC Group’s thought leadership in the field of nonprofit strategy and capacity building.
Prior to joining TCC Group, Erin led project monitoring and evaluation work for non-governmental organizations across the globe. In this capacity, she worked in Rwanda with an organization working to expand access to higher education, as well as in Mexico, on a youth development project in communities affected by drug war violence. She also worked to design and implement monitoring and evaluation systems for Laboratoria (a technology social enterprise based in Lima, Peru), which aims to increase the representation of women in the technology sector across Latin America.
Following her interest in the role of technology in the social sector, she collaborated with the NYC Department of Education’s innovative pilot initiatives, including the Software Engineering Pilot and the Digital Ready programs, which incorporate technology-powered, student-centered approaches to learning in New York City public schools. She had also worked to design and develop sustainable community-based Internet solutions for the people living in the urban periphery in Northeastern Brazil.
Erin is fluent in Spanish and has basic proficiency in Portuguese. She holds a BA in International Studies and Latin American Studies from The University of Chicago, and a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs, with a specialization in Management.
