Grantmakers in Health Annual Conference: Nonprofit Capacity Building

This session—titled “Nonprofit Capacity Building”—will examine how foundations are applying a variety of capacity building approaches to enhance nonprofit effectiveness and resilience, particularly in light of the changing health policy landscape. Strengthening a nonprofit’s ability to move toward financial stability, build internal management and operations, and plan for sustainability enables the organization to better achieve its mission. The session will provide health grantmakers an opportunity for candid conversation about designing and implementing effective capacity building programs, as well as how to assess their impact.
