Our Team Rose Marie Street Finance Assistant Email Rose Marie Collaborating to move finance forward “Speak with honesty, think with sincerity, act with integrity” -Anonymous Rose Marie’s quantitative, analytic, and interpersonal skills enable her to make a valuable contribution to the Finance Department. She is excited to serve as a member of a hardworking accounting team that share her values of precision and integrity. Rose Marie is collaborative, and always eager to learn and to share her own knowledge with others. She values relationships and problem-solving and finding ways to add lightness to challenging situations. At TCC, she is bringing all accounts up to date, attending to details that will allow forward movement. Her training in accounting began at age 19 in her native Jamaica where she worked in every aspect of the discipline. Rose Marie’s first role was with a subsidiary of Colgate Palmolive, Jamaica LTD, where she began as assistant credit manager. She went on to institute a wide variety of services for Levychin, LLC as a senior accountant. Rose Marie then provided full “back room” accounting services for 680 accounts of Baldor Specialty Food in the Boston Division. When she came to the US, Rose Marie jumped into earning a BA and an MBA, achieving both with honors. She is a member of the National Black MBA Association, where she learns about entrepreneurial empowerment. In her spare time, she is a voracious reader, particularly curious about American history and applying lessons from the past to today’s challenges.
